Her real name is Kim Jennie, and she was born on January 16, 1996, in Korea. Jennie is an English name, so she doesn't have a name written in Chinese characters. It seems to be the first case among the stars I've analyzed on YouTube so far. Many Koreans often create Korean names that can also be written in Chinese characters, but these days they often create completely Korean or English names, like Jennie, that can't be written in Chinese characters. Cheongdam in Gangnam, Seoul, where Jennie was born, is a representative neighborhood in Korea where many wealthy people live.

 

 

 

Jennie's height is 163 cm, her blood type is B, and her shoe size is 235 mm. Like Jisoo, I think Jennie looks taller than her height, probably because she has good body proportions. Jennie has a dog named Kuma. Interestingly, just like Jisoo's dog, 반달곰 (which is the name of a bear species), Jennie's dog is named Kuma, which means "bear" in Japanese. Kuma is a small and cute black Pomeranian, but I believe he was named Kuma because of the color of his fur. So, after returning to Korea, she passed YG's audition, and in August 2010, she joined as a trainee and trained for about 6 years.
