My name is Daniel, and I currently live in Mexico. I am 21 years old, and I am studying economics at the university. Although my major is economics, I have a passion for learning Korean. I just started studying Korean last year, so I am still not very good at it.

However, I am taking online classes every day and working hard to improve my Korean language skills. My love for K-pop and Korean dramas started when I was in high school, and I want to work for a Korean company after I graduate from university.

Luckily, the university I attend offers an exchange student program that allows students to study at universities in Korea. I applied for this program last year, and I was accepted due to my good grades in my first year of university. I will be studying at Hankook University in Seoul for a year and taking Korean language classes at a language school.

The new semester starts on March 2nd in Korea, and I need to start taking classes at Hankook University from that day onwards. Exchange students must enter Korea before February 20th and live in a dormitory. Today is February 17th, and I am leaving for Korea tomorrow.

Everything is ready, only except for going to the airport tomorrow. I am excited to start this new chapter in my life, but I am also a bit nervous because my Korean language skills are not very good, and I have only taken online classes.

I am worried that I won't understand what people are saying when I arrive at the airport. But It’s going to be fine if I study hard as I am smart enough. I want to start my days in Korea as soon as possible so that I can interact with Korean students and eat delicious Korean food.

Today is February 18th, and I slept very well last night. I had to take a taxi to the airport because my luggage was heavy. The airport is crowded, and I noticed that a lot of people are going on trips this year. I arrived three hours early for my flight, so I had time to grab an ice americano and a delicious sandwich from Starbucks. After that, I checked in and dropped off my luggage at the airline's counter.

The immigration process took a long time because there were so many people. However, I eventually made it to the boarding gate without any problems. I had about 30 minutes before boarding the plane, so I used that time to double-check the immigration procedures and figure out how to get from the airport to the dormitory.

I found out that there are many buses and subways that can take me to Seoul. However, taking a taxi would be too expensive due to the long distance.

Boarding is now complete. My flight has a layover in the US, so it will be a long journey and I would get tired arriving at Korea. I’m going to watch a Korean movie on the plane and I am so much excited to see what the future holds for me in Korea.
