Jungkook(BTS)'s <Seven> enters the Billboard Hot 100, debuting straight at number 1!

On the 24th (local time), the US Billboard announced that <Seven> became the 68th debut song in Billboard history to reach the Hot 100. Jungkook is the second Asian solo artist to achieve this feat, following BTS member Jimin.

 

 

 

 

In addition, Billboard revealed that with this accomplishment, BTS has become the ninth group in the world to have more than two solo songs top the Hot 100 among the members of the group.

 

Jungkook's new song <Seven> is a captivating blend of the 'UK Garage' rhythm, a genre of electronic music popular in the UK during the 1990s, with the soulful sounds of an acoustic guitar, and passionate English lyrics expressing the desire to be with a loved one throughout the week.

 

 

Prior to this achievement, Jungkook debuted at number three on the Official UK 'Top 100' chart. Moreover, he made history by becoming the first Korean solo artist to claim the top spot on Spotify's 'Global Weekly Top Song Chart,' the world's largest music platform.
