Initially, I thought Suho was his real name since it's common in Korea, but his actual name is Kim Junmyeon. He was born on May 22, 1991, in Korea. Standing at 172 cm tall, he is slim with a weight of 59 kg, and his blood type is AB. He has an older brother and is rumored to have a dog named 'Byeol'.

 

 

 

Suho was a member and leader of EXO-K, and he made his debut as a solo artist in 2020. Although he claims not to be religious, he hails from a Buddhist family and occasionally visits temples. On February 13, 2022, he completed his military service as a social worker. In EXO, he holds the positions of leader and main vocalist.

 

Since childhood, Suho's dream was to become a singer, but his parents initially objected. Eventually, after going to university, he decided to pursue that path. However, during high school, he was discovered by an SM casting staff in a park, and with his parents' approval, he auditioned and was accepted.

 

 

He has been a trainee since late 2005, for about six and a half years, which is the longest training period among the members of EXO. Considering he's not the oldest member, one might wonder why he assumed the leadership role. Perhaps it's due to the extensive learning period.

 

As a backing vocalist, Suho exhibits a different charm compared to the main vocals, D.O, and Baekhyun, with his delicate and clear voice. His high-pitched voice provides support for the lead vocals in the higher parts, and his singing ability grants him many individual parts.

 

 

Suho is known to have an exemplary personality that complements his decent appearance. He takes good care of his fellow members and his polite demeanor is often evident during broadcasts. Interestingly, plastic surgeons have chosen Suho as the number one star with the facial golden ratio.

 

 

 

Furthermore, he possesses all the elements of a handsome man in Korea, including fair skin and big eyes with double lids. With his attractive looks and decent personality, he is often regarded as an ideal role model for a future husband. Among the EXO members, Suho was unanimously chosen as the one who cares the most about his appearance, and he is said to pay special attention to skincare.

 

 

During his time as a trainee, Suho frequently bought meals for the other members. As the only college student among them, he took care of his junior peers with his relatively sufficient pocket money. His generous personality, coupled with the support of his nurturing and financially stable family, created the image of him as a well-off member.

 

 

 

Recently, I discovered that Suho is also active as a musical actor. He won the Best New Musical Theater Actor award and made his debut in 2015. In 2018 and 2020, he starred in the highly popular Korean musical, 'The Laughing Man', which achieved great success. Currently, he is working on another famous musical called 'Mozart'.

 

 

As mentioned in the first video, EXO remains active and successful in both group and solo activities. Suho proves to be exceptional both as part of the group and as an individual artist.
